How to Compare Host Agencies — and Where InteleTravel Fits

By OdysseySoul Travel Editorial Team · Fact review: Felipe Soares (owner review) · 2026-09-20

Compare host agencies on a fixed set of questions — cost, commission terms, payment timing, supplier access, training, support and what happens to your clients if you leave — and fill each answer only from that company's own current materials. InteleTravel is one host agency, and this page points to its own documents rather than summarizing them. PlanNet Marketing is a separate independent-representative activity, not a host agency, and OdysseySoul Travel is a team of independent advisors working within InteleTravel, not an agency of its own.

First, three names that are often mixed up

A fair comparison starts by comparing like with like. InteleTravel is a host agency: independent travel advisors work under it, book through its accreditation and supplier relationships, and are paid through it. That is the category this page compares. [S27] [S28]

PlanNet Marketing is not a host agency. It is a separate independent-representative activity, governed by its own documents and its own rules. Researching one does not enrol you in the other, and a statement about one company is not evidence about the other. Keeping the two apart is not a formality — the official materials treat them as distinct activities. [S09]

OdysseySoul Travel is a team of independent travel advisors working within InteleTravel. It is not a host agency, not an accreditation holder, not an employer and not an approval authority. Where you see it named on this site, it identifies who Travel OS CRM™ is built for — nothing more.

The comparison grid worth building

Use the same seven rows for every host agency you look at, so the differences show up instead of the marketing. Joining cost and every recurring or per-booking charge. Commission terms, including whether they change with volume. How long after travel commission is paid. Which suppliers you can actually book, and which are excluded.

Then: what training is included and whether any of it is required before you may sell; what support exists when a client has a problem overnight in another timezone; and what the agreement says about your client records and pending bookings if you leave.

Fill each cell with a short answer, the document it came from, and a date. Leave cells blank rather than guessing. A blank cell is a question for the company; a guessed cell is a decision made on air.

Where InteleTravel fits in that grid

InteleTravel publishes its own advisor FAQ and advisor-benefits material, which describe what it provides to independent advisors — accreditation and supplier access, booking systems, training and support. Those are the pages to read for its side of the grid, because they are current and they are the company's own words. [S27] [S28]

This page deliberately does not restate its costs, commission terms or benefits. Those are exactly the details that change, and a second-hand summary is the most common way people end up comparing an outdated version of one company against a current version of another.

One caution that applies to every host, InteleTravel included: whether you may carry out advisor activity where you live is a separate question, answered by current official material for your market — never by a comparison page, a team presentation or a translated summary. [S02]

How to compare without being sold to

Compare documents, not enthusiasm. A recruiting post, a webinar and a social testimonial are persuasion; the agreement, the FAQ and the applicable income disclosure are information. If a number appears in the first group but not the second, treat it as unverified.

This is also why no earnings figure, commission rate or fee appears anywhere on this page. Compensation questions belong with the current official disclosure for the company you are researching, not with an example someone quoted. [S08]

Finally, note who benefits from your comparison being rushed. Nobody who answers your seven questions in writing is harmed by you taking a week over it.

What none of them do for you

Whichever host you choose, the host's systems record bookings. They are not your memory of a client: who asked about Japan in March, whose quote expires Friday, who cannot take early flights, what you promised in a call two months ago.

That gap is the reason advisors keep their own organized system alongside a host's tools. Travel OS CRM™, powered by AEGIS OS™, is one such independent system; access is limited to eligible OdysseySoul Travel team members, separate third-party costs may apply, and it is not an official InteleTravel or PlanNet Marketing product. Using it changes nothing about your obligations under a host agreement.

Cited sources

  • S27InteleTravel — advisor FAQ. What InteleTravel provides to independent advisors is read from its own current materials, not restated here.
  • S28InteleTravel — advisor benefits. Host-agency context in the company's own words; benefits are not copied into marketing on this site.
  • S09PlanNet Marketing — advisor and representative roles. The travel-advisor activity and the independent-representative activity are separate, which is why PlanNet Marketing is not compared as a host agency.
  • S08PlanNet Marketing — income disclosure statement notice. Compensation questions go to the current applicable official disclosure. No rate, fee or earnings figure appears on this page.
  • S02PlanNet Marketing — no selling or recruiting in closed markets. Whether an activity is permitted where a reader lives is decided by current official material for that market, never by a comparison page.

Official company materials are cited as sources, not reproduced. The current official version always controls.

Take the seven questions into the Before You Start readiness checklist — it organizes what you have verified and what is still unknown, and collects none of your details.
