Advisor Tools: Working Through the Business-or-Job Decision

OdysseySoul Travel Editorial Team · Felipe Soares (owner review) · 2026-09-20

These are planning prompts, not an application, a qualification decision or a promise of income. No enrollment is required to use them. Keep private account, passport, payment and identity information out of this worksheet.

Tool 1 — Name the opportunity you actually need

Employment and independent business ownership are different decisions, and neither should be disguised as the other. Write your own answer before reading further.

What I am looking for (employment / independent travel-advisor business / organizing a business I already run / information about a separate independent-representative activity): ______________________

My objective in my own words: ______________________

Tool 2 — Describe the work, not the lifestyle

Picture one customer asking for help. Write what you would need to understand the request, what would need verification, and where authorized training would come from.

Questions I would ask the customer: ______________________

What I would need to verify before answering: ______________________

Where authorized training and booking support come from: ______________________

Tool 3 — Keep the roles separate

Travel-advisor activity and independent-representative activity are separate decisions, and advisor training and booking support belong to the authorized official resources. A person may research one, both or neither. [S09]

Which activity am I researching right now: ______________________

Which official material did I read it in, and on what date: ______________________

Tool 4 — Cost questions before any revenue thinking

List only amounts you have documented, and mark everything else unknown. Hoped-for bookings are not money available to pay a bill. For any compensation question, use the current applicable official Income Disclosure Statement rather than a selected success story. [S08]

Line item / documented amount or “unknown” / how often / official source: ______________________

What happens if I stop, and who bills each item: ______________________

Tool 5 — Verify the market for your actual activity

Reading this page in your language does not establish enrollment eligibility. Published guidance addresses residence and physical location at enrollment, so verify current requirements through official channels for the specific activity you are considering. [S02]

Activity and location I need verified: ______________________

Official channel I asked, and the answer or “not verified yet”: ______________________

Where information is missing or contradictory, pause the decision and ask. “Not verified yet” is a complete answer.

Tool 6 — Choose a considered next step

What I now understand clearly: ______________________

What is still unverified: ______________________

Which official source or qualified person can answer it: ______________________

Pick one: keep learning; request an official source; ask for a conversation; or decide this is not for you. Declining is a legitimate outcome of good research.

An original planning worksheet, not an official InteleTravel or PlanNet Marketing document, not employment and not a promise of income. No legal, tax or income advice is given. Current official company materials always control.

Cited sources

2026-09-13Sources were recorded on this date and link to the companies' own public pages. A recorded reference is not an approval, and the current official materials always take precedence.

Next step

Read “Part-Time Travel Advisor: Independent Business or Job?” alongside this worksheet, then take your remaining questions to the official sources.

Reading this page proves nothing about residence, citizenship or enrollment eligibility. Each activity is verified separately through official channels.

This checklist is a planning aid, not advice. If anything is unclear — about the official sources to verify, about what Travel OS CRM™ does, or about anything you read here — ask a real person, or put the question to the Travel OS Guide.
